The little shopkeeper, after trying to sell Jack a rug, notices the Woolies scroll and reveals that he is an old friend of theirs. Upon entering the strange shop, Jack is greeted by a small, elderly creature who says that he has been expecting Jack. A cloaked and hooded Jack slowly makes his way through the market until he sees a sign above a door whose markings match the ones on the scroll given to him by the Woolies. The episode opens in an unnamed Middle Eastern city inhabited by various species of alien creatures adopting it's culture as well. With new ally Ashi by his side, the quest continues to destroy Aku and liberate the world from his tyranny once and for all.A mysterious female warrior joins Jack in his quest, but Jack isn't certain she is really an ally. Death, pain, and suffering follow in his path. His fight has bought nothing but trouble to those he encounter. Jack’s feelings of guilt and self-loathing are displayed here. It is much more subtle than that but once you notice, it is difficult not to think of Spongebob being used as an eccentric, fun-loving robot assassin.Īshi finally finds Jack, and it is finally revealed who the mysterious horseman is. Ashi is exposed to Jack’s legacy of good that he has done for the world, in spite of Aku’s (original series Mako Iwamatsu, revival series Greg Baldwin) terror. The episode is essentially a tour through a living museum of episodes from the original Samurai Jack series. Along the way, she encounters people who have become products of Jack’s legacy. We know that the children survived, and now Ashi ( Tara Strong) has set off to find Jack.
